The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) conducted a Computer-Based Written Test (CBT) for the Sub Inspector positions in the Home Department, UT Cadre, as advertised in Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2021, under item No. 668, from December 7, 2022, to 20-12-2022. The result/scoresheet for this examination was officially notified via No. JKSSB-(7057013) on 03-11-2023.
According to S.O 214 dated 1st July 2021 of the Home Department, candidates to be selected for the Physical Standard Test (PST) must be six times the total number of vacancies in each category, and those meeting the physical standards must undergo the Physical Endurance Test (PET) as per the specified standards. The shortlisted candidates for PST/PET can be found in Annexure “A” to this notification. The date and venue for PST/PET will be notified separately. It’s important to note that being called for the PST/PET doesn’t guarantee selection, as candidates must fulfill additional eligibility conditions, with the Board’s decision being final. The PST/PET is of a qualifying nature.
