Admission Notification 2023: M Pharm Programme for Non-GPAT Qualified Candidates

The candidates whose particulars are mentioned in the appended selection list to this notification have been selected provisionally for admission to M Pharm Programme (Non-GPAT Qualified candidates) offered at
Main Campus, University of Kashmir purely on the basis of Entrance Test score obtained by them in the Kashmir University Entrance Test

Important Note:-
The Head who is the Chairman of Departmental Admission Committee, shall ensure that all the selected candidates possess the minimum required eligibility and have passed their qualifying examination by or before 18-08-2023 / have category certificate (if selected under any reserved category) valid upto 18-08-2023 the same may be verified by the original documents/certificates of the candidate. No authority slip shall be issued by the Chairman of the Admission Committee to the candidate who aren’t eligible and have passed his/her qualifying examination/ having category certificate issued after 18-08-2023.

  1. Admission is contingent upon the presentation of all pertinent original documents, including qualifying examination marks cards, domicile certificates (excluding OSJ), character and provisional certificates from the last attended institution, valid Reserved Category certificates (if applicable), and Migration Certificate.
  2. Eligibility verification and revival of registration/migration form submission, if required, must be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
  3. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria as confirmed by the relevant department.
  4. In-service candidates should provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments.

    • Acknowledgment that any misinformation, concealment of information, or disciplinary issues may result in admission cancellation and legal action.
    • The affidavit is submitted willingly, without coercion, fraud, or compulsion.

  1. Provisionally selected candidates must visit the official website of the University of Kashmir at
  2. On the website, they should download their online Admission Forms by entering their Application Form No.
  3. Before depositing the required Admission Fee, selected candidates should approach the Head of the concerned Department. They should bring all the relevant original certificates and self-attested copies of certificates/documents.
  4. The purpose of this visit to the Head of the Department is to obtain the authority slip required for depositing the prescribed Fee. This fee amount will be reflected on the downloaded pay-in-slips.
  5. This process should be completed from 04-10-2023 to 10-10-2023, specifically on working days.
  6. After depositing the requisite fee, candidates must submit the fee receipt, along with the admission form and other related documents, to the office of the Department of Pharmaceutical Science, University of Kashmir by or before 10-10-2023, again on working days.
  7. It’s essential to note that the fee can be accepted only at any FINACLE branch of J&K Bank upon presenting the authority slip obtained from the concerned Head.
  8. Any provisionally selected candidate who fails to complete the admission formalities by 10-10-2023 will forfeit their right to admission. Any resulting vacancy will be filled from the waiting list.
  9. The Head of the Department should forward the vacancy list (if any) by 05:15 PM on the last date prescribed for the completion of admission-related formalities.
